This abaya dress is all the evidence you need to show why linen remains a perennially popular abaya material. This natural fibre absorbs dye in an irregular way, ensuring linen clothing provides a mottled, soft tone regardless of the colour it has been dyed. In this case, this abaya is a sage green colour, creating a rustic, tonally subtle, earthy coloured dress. This natural feel is then contrasted with beautiful solid coloured embroidery that stretches from the neckline all the way down to mid shin, where this abaya kicks out with a small linen skirt at the bottom. This mermaid silhouette is supported by the addition of elastic sew in just below the bust line from the side of the body around the back. This cinches in a high waistline on this abaya dress without the need for a belt which would interrupt the gorgeous elongating embroidery that joyously lights up the front of this abaya. This light elastic also supports your ability to move in this dress without the restriction of a belt tie. It is also worth noting that this is quite a long dress, and the hem will touch the floor for anyone who is less than 165cm tall. The good news for anyone taller than this (up to around 180cm), is you will finally have an abaya that does not require you to wear long pants in order to cover your ankles - which is a huge plus when trying to stay cool in summer.

This abaya is generous enough in size to comfortably sit over any clothes you wish to wear underneath.
