Elasticity: This fabric has significant elasticity and can be stretched quite far without losing its opacity. However, we have provided sizes that can be worn without this garment becoming all over skin tight. While it will fit firmly across the busy and arms, and it will glide over the hips, on most people it will fall to the floor without grabbing the body firmly as it does so. If you would like even greater movement and less firmness in the fit, buy this garment one size up.

Once again, the patterning on this dress is inspired by Polynesian cultures. There is a clear reference to Hawaiian culture here as flowers, particularly frangipanis and hibiscus, are important native plants and vital international exports. So it is not surprising to see the appearance of a tropical flower motif on this dress amongst the regular geometric patterning of the Polynesian inspired design.

Happily, this skirt is cut with a A line, so it falls from the waist without hugging the stomach or thighs. Likewise, this dress does have a fitted top, but if you buy a size larger, you can have this lovely elasticised material while not having a tightly fitted top.

This is a detailed and beautiful dress to own and it functions on its own or wear it under a flowing open abaya.
