This is another abaya dress that utilises the perennial favourite abaya design of colour blocking. On this dress, a gloriously rich, gold ochre, half way between orange and yellow, is colour blocked on the bodice and sleeves. Both the bodice and sleeves are gathered and billow out, creating a look of ample elegance. The straight sections of the dress, in the skirt and the cuffs, are coloured black, creating a sophisticated backdrop against the earthy ochre.

This dress is beautifully designed and executed, with the pleated bodice gathering into a high seam under the bust, then dropping smoothly to the floor in a long skirt that elongates the body and provides a slender silhouette. This dress is very appropriate for corporate as well as more formal occasions as a result of this tailored style with its minimal earthy colour palette.
