Elasticity: The fabric has no elastic content, however this is an extremely roomy blouse in the arms and the bust, as it is designed to blouse rather than touch the skin. As such, it would easily fit a size larger than its marked size, so there is plenty of room in this blouse.

When the Spanish arrived in South America, they invaded a variety of indigenous societies which were highly developed and had long and spiritually sophisticated societies. As such, the Spanish never truly colonised South America artistically. Rather, Spanish influences, designs and textiles were incorporated into existing artistic skills and textile development. This blouse hints at this history. The very feminine floral print on this blouse is inspired by Spanish embroideries. However, its presentation on an exceptionally blousy/loose blouse is far more influenced by the layered, loose and ruffled textiles preferred traditionally in South America. Likewise, the use of a more rustic material like wide weave cotton hints at more traditional and rustic textile traditions. Inevitably, the use of white cotton in a rustic weave means the opacity of this blouse is only a 2 (your undergarments can be seen through it if they touch the material. So for those who prefer higher opacity, we suggest wearing an undershirt. Yet, even with an undershirt, this blouse will not cling to your body, as it is so light and loose.
