Elasticity: There is no elasticity in the fabric of this product as it is a cotton blend. However, it will stretch to fit in places it feels tight similar to the way denim stretches. Please note that Indian garments often have narrow sleeves, so it might be worth buying one size up if you have thicker biceps. However, the pants in these garments are elasticised, so this means they can often stretch to fit someone one size larger. Likewise, they are comfortable for an extended period for pregnant ladies as the elastic will grow with your waist.

The light cotton salwar kameez is one of the most comfortable modest outfits one can wear.
