Elasticity: This is a plisse dress with a fine electric pleat all over. The effect is to provide ample stretch to the fabric. This is so pronounced, that this dress is sized one size larger than its actual measurement, as it is tiny when not on a body. This dress can fit someone larger than the size assigned to it, however, the further you stretch it, the more this dress loses its opacity. We have tested the sizes to ensure that they do not stretch the fabric so far as to lose pleats or become see-through.

As Turkey is the place where the East (particularly the Muslim influenced East) meets the West (specifically Europe), it is the place that has merged Eastern Abayas with Western Dresses. This Ombré Abaya Dress is a classic example of this Turkish merging of styles. This garment is based on a skin-tight Western dress.
