Elasticity: This fabric has major elasticity. Unfortunately, this specific fabric loses its opacity with even minor stretching. As such, we have sized this garment conservatively, recognising that most modest dressers prefer opacity and thus would rather buy a larger size than have to stretch the fabric until it becomes transparent.

There is nothing we love here at Myriad Modest Fashion more than a floral dress or abaya dress! We simply can’t get enough of their romantic and sometimes tropical feel along with their femininity and beautiful colours! This dress is no exception with the inclusion of another of our favourite fashion trends, the use of a black or plain coloured bodice and sleeves attached to a bright, floral skirt.

Unfortunately the images provided by the supplier do not give a true indication of the shape of this dress. It is far more straight than the image would suggest. As such, if you have a tummy, the material will cling to your tummy if the size you choose relies on the elasticity of the fabric to allow you to wear the dress. Due to this phenomenon, we have taken photos of the dress on a mannequin, which gives a much more realistic presentation of the shape of this dress.

This dress does have a fitted bodice, so it will grab onto the form of your body. For those who prefer loose fitting garments, you may prefer to wear this dress under an open abaya rather than wearing it on its own in a public setting. But it is still a beautiful modest floral dress and a versatile dress to own.
